SEAMER TRAINING UNIVERSITY: NOW ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR ON-SITE SEAMER TRAINING!

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has created some challenges for the face-to-face training environment. We take this responsibility very seriously, and have taken our time to evaluate and reinvent our training programs to provide extra precautions to protect your health and safety, as well as that of our team. When you arrive at our facility, you'll enter through a dedicated entrance, where we will take your temperature and provide you with personal protective equipment (PPE), including a disposable face mask, a full face shield, safety glasses, and disposable gloves. Hand sanitizer and disposable wipes are also located throughout the facility, and individual boxed meals will be provided. Finally, we have limited our class sizes to just 4 students, which means that not only will it be easier to maintain a safe distance, but you will also receive an even higher level of instructor interaction and hands-on opportunities with the equipment you are here to learn. Our certified instructors are excited to once again be able to do what they love and share their knowledge with you, and we look forward to seeing you in class soon!

To Our Valued Customers:

As the impacts of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic continue to be felt, and with an increasing number of U.S. states and countries across the globe issuing Shelter-in-Place or similar directives limiting the movement and interaction of persons to stop its spread, you may have questions about what that means for our continuing operations at Pneumatic Scale Angelus.  During this crisis, we want to reassure you that PSA remains committed to our partnership with you, and to providing the critical parts, services, and supplies you need to preserve the health and viability of your operations.

As you are likely aware, in the United States, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) identifies 16 critical infrastructure sectors considered so vital that their incapacitation or destruction would have debilitating effects on security, economic security, and public health and safety.  Under the policies set forth by this Agency, the Critical Manufacturing Sector is deemed crucial to the economic prosperity and continuity of the country, since disruptions to the manufacturing supply chain can have devastating effects on essential functions.  Similar provisions exist in Canada, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, where we have additional manufacturing locations.

In the face of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, Essential Suppliers to Critical Business and Infrastructure have been identified as Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Healthcare Services, Pharmaceuticals, and Personal Care – in other words, YOUR industries that we are proud to serve every day and that we know need our unwavering support more than ever to get through this crisis.

In response, Pneumatic Scale Angelus is OPEN for business, and we are grateful to have this opportunity to serve.

We recognize that our ability to serve you with minimal interruption depends on each of our team members, as well as our own suppliers, and we have been proactive in protecting both our employees and our business.  We have enabled many of our team members to work remotely so they may continue to perform essential functions, while limiting unnecessary contact.  This offers added safety and protection for our critical team members who remain on site, building machines and providing the leadership to keep our business moving and our PSA family healthy.  For those still reporting to work within our facilities, we continue to implement policies and practices to safeguard their health and well-being.

In addition, you may have seen a previous communication from me last week, which we posted here on our web site and our LinkedIn page, outlining the steps our Global Supply Chain and Field Service teams are taking to ensure the continued flow of work between PSA, our suppliers, and your organizations.  This also includes the use of our Remote Support tool, which allows us to provide immediate Service and Support worldwide (with live technicians), perform virtual FATs, and offer consultation on aftermarket upgrades designed to extend machine lifecycle.  We will continue to communicate with you through these channels, as well as direct communication from me, my Leadership team, and the dedicated Sales professionals you already know well.

As a member of the Barry-Wehmiller family of companies, the philosophy of Truly Human Leadership has never been more profound than it is in these challenging times.  Through all of the changes we are collectively experiencing as a result of this pandemic, one thing is constant for PSA: Our devotion to measuring our success by the way we touch the lives of others remains unwavering.  At each of our locations around the world, we remain committed to the health and safety of our team members, our customers, our vendors and our communities.  It is a privilege to work with you, and we are thankful for your trust in us.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to me or any PSA team member for assistance.  In the meantime, be well.

Bill Morgan, President

To Our Valued Customers:

We are OPEN for business. At each of our locations around the world, Pneumatic Scale Angelus remains committed to the safety of our team members, customers, vendors and our communities. Like you, we are concerned about the coronavirus, COVID‐19, and its impact, and we are closely monitoring the situation. We continue to adjust our guidelines based on the latest information from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Department of State, and the local governments in countries where the outbreak is occurring.

For Safety:

  • PSA is taking steps to prevent illness as presented by the CDC:
    • Following travel guidelines and restrictions for all team members
    • Washing hands often, and using disinfectant daily
    • Avoiding close social contact by decreasing travel and hosting online meetings
    • Team members are staying home when they are sick

For information about prevention and treatment of COVID‐19, please refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.

To ensure the flow of work between PSA, our suppliers, and our customers:

  • Our Global Supply Chain Team is actively tracking the impact across our extended supplier network.
    • Phone lines are open for rapid response and expedited service.
    • We are proactively ensuring the global availability of parts, by monitoring stocking levels at all warehouses, and distribution. In most cases, we are still shipping parts within 24 hours from most PSA locations.
    • As of today, our lead times are not being impacted. If the situation changes, we will update you.
  • Our Global Field Service Team is ready and available to support customers within their region.
    • We can provide travel history and itineraries of Service Technicians.
    • Service Technicians are following CDC illness‐prevention recommendations, and monitoring their body temperature for their well‐being, and the well‐being of others.
    • We will continue to provide support. If new restrictions require us to adjust our Service plans in the future, we will share those new plans immediately.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact a PSA team member for assistance.  We will do our best to help navigate these uncharted waters.

Best of health to our customers and our communities.

Bill Morgan, President.
